"Big Rig" Gray Rec play area funding achieved thanks to National Lottery grant

A new piece of play equipment is set to be installed soon at Gray Rec, thanks to funding from the National Lottery and the Parish Council.

The National Lottery 'Awards for all' grant of £10,000 has topped up the funds allotted to the project by the Parish Council, helping to realise a long-held ambition to install more play and exercise equipment for use by older teenagers and adults.

In 2021 Duffield Parish Council carried out comprehensive online consultation prior to the publication of the Village Action Plan. 273 residents responded and the plan was published in final form in May.
