Walking & Cycling in Duffield - Have your say
In 2021 Duffield Parish Council carried out comprehensive online consultation prior to the publication of the Village Action Plan. 273 residents responded and the plan was published in final form in May. The process showed that there is strong support for walking and considerable support for cycling.

Parking in Duffield
As residents will be aware, parking in Duffield can be difficult and the difficulty is increasing. The Parish Council has been in discussion with Derbyshire County Council (who have responsibility in this area) and have agreed an initial programme of works to make improvements, which include:
- additional signage on the A6 to direct people to the Eyes Meadow Car Park;

20mph campaign in Duffield - Volunteers needed!
This year's Village Action Plan survey found that 80% of Duffield residents who responded would like to see 20 mph limits on at least some residential streets in the village. 20 mph limits are common across the UK, and indeed Darley Abbey has 20 mph limits.
