Duffield Remembrance Parade and Service - Sunday 9th November 2025

The annual Remembrance Parade is set to take place on the 9th November. Uniformed organisations will meet at the Weston Centre from 10:00am and set off along the Parade route at approx. 10:30am, with the Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial starting at approx. 10:50am. Please do join us to mark this important event.

ROAD CLOSURES – Don't forget that the main A6 between Tamworth Street and Makeney Road, Makeney Road to its junction with Church Drive, Church Drive and Donald Hawley Way will be closed while the parade takes place (although the road closures are officially in place 10am - 11:30, the actual closure will be limited to the time it takes the parade to pass through). Church Drive and Donald Hawley Way will be closed until after the service has taken place (use Cockpit Lane alongside the Doctors Surgery and the pedestrian underpass to access Eyes Meadow during this time).
