Talk on the work of the CWGC and visit to the Commonwealth War Graves of Duffield Cemetery - all welcome!
11:30 -2PM Duffield Fish & Chip Shop: V.E DAY Fish and chip lunch - £7 per person

Join The VE Day 80th Anniversary Celebration at Croots Farm Shop!
Commemorate this historic occasion with a party atmosphere, live music, historical displays and traditional wartime activities.
Performance by Crescendo Choir, singing wartime classics.
Children's Poster Competition – Local children will design posters for VE Day, which will be displayed at the event.
Historical Photo Display – A collection of wartime-era photographs from village residents and local care homes.
Wartime Games
Barbecue with a selection of food.
Drinks available throughout the evening.
Beacon Lighting at 9:30 PM - Part of the national programme of beacon lightings across the UK.
