Environment Working Group – volunteers requested

Are you a Duffield resident with a concern for the environment who could spare a little time to help improve the village's environmental credentials?

The Parish Council has set up an Environment Working Group as part of its commitment to reduce carbon emissions both through the Council's activities and in the local community. The group is being headed up by three Parish Councillors; Cllr John Shoesmith, Cllr Alice Vincent and Cllr Joe Martin.

The Parish Council would like to hear from Duffield residents of all ages and interests who would be interested in joining the group. Members would need to share a concern for the environment and a drive to understand what actions are likely to be most effective, rather than having specific expertise.

The group would meet by video-conferencing, at intervals to be decided.

If you would like to find out more, please contact the Parish Clerk Kath Gruber by email at clerk@duffieldparishcouncil.gov.uk
