Could your group run Duffield Library? Open day 21st March 2019
Derbyshire County Council is transferring the running of Duffield library over to the community and is now looking for groups and organisations to step forward to work with the service.
An open day is being held at the library on Thursday 21 March 2019 (between midday and 6pm) where there will be a wealth of information about running a Derbyshire community library, the application process, the benefits and what support is available.
All the relevant information about the process can be found on Derbyshire County Council's website here: www.derbyshire.gov.uk/librariesforderbyshire
In addition, key documents in connection with running the library can be found below.
People or groups who cannot attend the Duffield library open day but are interested in finding out more can email firstname.lastname@example.org to see if there is an opportunity to arrange a visit and chat to a member of the libraries team.
