Thanks to the Football Foundation (the Premier League, the FA and Government's charity that helps communities improve their local football facilities through football grants), the Parish Council has secured funding that will provide new football goalposts at Eyes Meadow, home to Duffield Dynamos and Allestree FC.

The winners of Duffield Parish Council's photography competition were formally announced at the Full Council meeting last night.

The overall winner of the Adult Category was Sharon Jackson, with her photo of a dog walker on a misty morning at Ecclesbourne Meadow, the field alongside Gray Recreation Ground.

The Parish Council and The RJ Weston Charity (Weston Centre) are both seeking a part-time Administration Assistant (12 hours/week).
