At the Council Meeting last week a concern was raised regarding an ex-offender under a rehabilitation scheme calling at homes to sell household products. Having checked into this with the police the Parish Council would like to advise residents that there are no approved rehabilitation vendors operating in the village and any calling at homes should be reported to the police.

Time Swap is a new initiative organised by Derbyshire County Council which gives you the chance to 'donate' your time or skills to the local community and receive others' support when you need assistance yourself.

There will be a by-election to choose a new Duffield Parish Councillor this Thursday, 21st November 2019.
The by-election will be held in the usual places at the Weston Centre and St Margaret Clitherow RC Church on Hall Farm Road. Voting hours are between 7:00am and 10:00pm.
