VE Day 75th Anniversary 8th May 2020: Events in Duffield
The 8th May 2020 represents an important milestone in our history as it marks the 75th anniversary of 8 May 1945 when peace emerged after nearly six years of war.
To mark this anniversary, the early May bank holiday in 2020 has been moved from Monday 4 May to Friday 8 May.

Duffield Community Association FREE CPR Training Sat 15th Feb
The Duffield Community Association has partnered with the British Heart Foundation to offer Duffield residents the chance to learn how to save a life with FREE CPR training at the Scout Hut, Hall Farm Road, Duffield.
The training will take place this Saturday, 15th February between 10am and 12 noon, parking is available at the adjacent St Margaret Clitherow Church.

Consultation Event 1st Feb - online survey now available
In support of the consultation event being held this Saturday, 1st Feb at the Weston Centre from 1pm until 4pm, a short survey asking for residents' views on a number of aspects of village life is now available.

Consultation event 1st Feb: Have your say in future plans for Duffield
Want to get your voice heard...?
The Duffield Action Plan is put together by the Parish Council in consultation with local residents and decides the Council's priorities for improvements to be made in the village.

Door to Door Vendors
At the Council Meeting last week a concern was raised regarding an ex-offender under a rehabilitation scheme calling at homes to sell household products. Having checked into this with the police the Parish Council would like to advise residents that there are no approved rehabilitation vendors operating in the village and any calling at homes should be reported to the police.

Duffield Business Networking Event: Thursday 9th January 2020
