Duffield Community Hall (former Methodist Church)

Open Morning
Following the news in December that the Parish Council has purchased the former Methodist Church building on King Street, all residents and anyone with an interest in the building would be welcome to join us at our open morning at the site on Saturday 31st January 2026, from 10:30am – 12:30pm.
This is a great opportunity to:
• look around the building
• view early ideas and possible plans to adapt it into a community space
• talk with councillors and staff
• share your views on how the space could be used for the community
We'd love to hear your thoughts, so please do come along. Limited parking is available at the church but please walk if you can.
If you are unable to attend, the plans and a questionnaire will be available here nearer the time.
For more information, contact Fay, the Parish Clerk: clerk@duffieldparishcouncil.gov.uk
Architectural plans
The plans linked below were created for the Carnival in 2025 to give some idea of how the building might look following a renovation to create a more useable community space. These are just suggestions at this stage and we welcome any comments on the designs.
